Rest In Peace Sir Sean Connery
Do you Expect Us To Talk takes a pitstop before we move on to the next series. This week we sit down and watch the last Connery Bond movie, Diamonds Are Forever. Following one of the best films of the series, Sean Connery returns to the role in what we consider to be one of the worst entries. The movie sees Bond take on diamond smuggling that leads him to Las Vegas, a camp Blofeld, not Howard Hughes and a gay hitman duo.
Join Becca, Dave and Chris as we talk our way through the film discussing fruity shirts, Blofeld’s love of drag. sleeping in an ash tray, the moment Sean Connery looks bored, and who’s the worst Bond girl

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return with Spider-Man
It’s commentary time for Do You Expect Us To Talk? as we transition into another franchise. These commentaries a regular stop gap to revisit Bond and since its been a while, Dave chose one of our favourites, Casino Royale. The starting point to our current Bond was a reset for the franchise as Daniel Craig gives a blistering debut.
Sit back and listen as Becca, Dave and Chris discuss why Little Britain isn’t talked about any more, not Edward Norton, the interest in looking at dead bodies, Michael G Wilsons cameos, differences in airline versions and Judi Dench’s chest.
Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return with Mission Impossible
Do you expect us to talk returns to Bond in a commentary of You Only Live Twice. Before we move on to another series we’ll make a quick pit stop with Batman as well before moving onto superhero soundtracks.
This commentary features more talk on bourbons, should 007 be hairy, what a pointless character Kissy is, should The Rock be in a Bond film and Dave’s crushes over Miss Moneypenny.

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return in Batman and Robin Commentary
First of all.. apologises for the audio issues in this episode, Chris experienced microphone issues that only appeared after the recording had finished. There’s about 40 minutes of Chris missing that leaves out his inspired casting choice for Foghorn Leghorn.
After receiving a suggestion that we should do more commentaries on Bond films, we thought it was a great idea to come back to Bond and stay true to our roots by doing a bonus commentary between series. Here we start with Moonraker and enjoy seeing Roger Moore go to space, drive face first into someone’s butt in midair and Drax’s inability to murder him on private property.

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return with Superman The Movie.
So we’ve now reached the last leg of the Bond series with the beginning of the Daniel Craig era with Casino Royale. We make no bones about it, this is one of the finest films in the series in our opinion so prepare yourselves for a love letter as we jizz all over it for 2 hours.
Introducing Craig as James Bond, this is a reboot of the franchise that takes Bond back to his roots as a fresh 00 agent. Starring Eva Green, Mads Mikkelsen, Judi Dench, Giancarlo Giannini, and Jeffrey Wright, the central plot takes place at a high stakes poker game in order to trap a financier of terrorism. Directed by Martin Campbell returning to the series for the second time to breath new life into the franchise.
Listen as we enjoy the film sequentially and praise the fuck out of it.

Do You Expect Us To Talk Will Return with Question of Sport… no… sorry…. Quantum of Solace.
Cue the big brass horns with Shirley Bassey passing out with Jimmy Page playing guitar (fun fact… Jimmy Page did play in that recording).. Yes it’s time for one of the.. if not the quintessential Bond film, Goldfinger.
Our host Becca Andrews guides us with her side kick henchmen Chris Byrne and David Bond (no relation to the fictional character in question) to talk about the third and arguably the best in the series and run the risk of angering Bond car enthusiasts all at the same time.
Enjoy this episode and Do You Expect Us To Talk will return with Thunderball.
