Ep 193 Live and Let Die commentary: Do You Expect Us To Talk?

Do You Expect Us To Talk? returns and its commentary time. On this occasion we are watching Roger Moore’s first entry Live and Let Die. After our first attempt originally failed way back when we were covering the Bond series, this is our second attempt to cover the Classic Bond film featuring voodoo, black magic and heroin.

Join Becca, Dave and Chris as we sit and watch the movie while chatting how you couldn’t make this film today, what happened last time we tried to record this, what Moneypenny gets up to when Bond sleeps around, terrible looking coffee, Chris fact checks tarot card reading, who was the best Felix and the offensive stereotyping of southern Americans.

Ep 168 A View to a Kill commentary : Do You Expect Us To Talk?

Do You Expect Us To Talk? returns with another Bond commentary. This time we redo a previous commentary we released to do it justice. In our previous commentary for A View To A Kill, we were joined by Mark O’Connell where we mostly talk about his book and his connection with the franchise. It was a good episode but we felt this film was ripe for proper commentary treatment.

Join Becca, Dave and Chris as we discuss, Bond’s pulling technique, Q is really an old pervert, Chris doesn’t recognised Daniel Benzali, how everyone is old, Stacy Dooley, is Christopher Walken playing a good villain or just being Walken and what is the correct wine to have with eggs?

Ep 84 You Only Live Twice Commentary : Do You Expect Us To Talk?

Do you expect us to talk returns to Bond in a commentary of You Only Live Twice. Before we move on to another series we’ll make a quick pit stop with Batman as well before moving onto superhero soundtracks.

This commentary features more talk on bourbons, should 007 be hairy, what a pointless character Kissy is, should The Rock be in a Bond film and Dave’s crushes over Miss Moneypenny.

Ep 20 A View to a Kill : Do You Expect Us To Talk

A-View-to-a-Kill-1985-movie-enter

James Bond is back and this time, he’s older than ever. We bid fairwell to Rodger Moore in his final performance as the super spy and he goes out with a bang. Out to stop Max Zorin with is recycled Goldfinger plot involving microchips that doesn’t make any sense.

Starring (too old for this shit) Rodger Moore as one half of the dream team with Patrick Macnee, a film stealing Christopher Walken, Grace Jones as Grace Jones, Tanya Roberts as a leading lady who only makes the leading man look older, The Chinese Detective and Dolph Lundgren more he was He-Man.
