Thought of as the final film for some time, Rocky Balboa sees Rocky enjoying the quiet life away from the boxing world. Now with his wife Adrien passed away, the former champion is now running a restaurant in his hometown of Philadelphia named after his wife. In a time of uninspiring fighters, the current heavyweight champion, Mason ‘The Line’ Dixon is blasted for only being a champion after not fighting any real competitors. After a computer simulation of the two fighters gets broadcast on TV predicts a win for Rocky, the public and promoters get curious about a real match.
Join Becca, Chris and Dave as we discuss was Stallone really too old for this shit, whatever happened to Marie, 1960s computer technology, who gives a shit about Steps, which one of us cried at this film and why Ceaser is an arsehole in this and Paulie isn’t?
Ding Ding.. Round 5… This time Do You Expect Us To Talk “Go For It” with the fifth film that was to be the final instalment of the franchise until another two films were made to apologise for it existing. Coming straight off the plane after fighting Drago and a decline in health, Rocky announces his retirement despite the efforts of Not Don King. Faced with the risk to his health, Paulie fucks everything up and loses all their money bringing everyone back to where they started in the streets of Phillidelia. Rocky takes over Mick’s Gym and starts to train a new boxer, Tommy Gunn, while neglecting his son and the issues he’s going through and also neglecting Not Don King objectives.
Join Becca, Chris and Dave as we realise what a dick Rocky is, if the mullet was ever a good look, the way time works in this franchise, hip rap music, is this film really all that bad and of course that fucking earring.
P.S we also forget to mention the god awful Elton John song over the end credits.

Rocky is now champ and successful but there’s a new threat in the form of Clubber Lang who wants his shot. When Rocky’s new lifestyle leaves him soft, Rocky tragically looses his traimer Micky and now must look to his old rival to regain the fire he once had in what is the greatest love story of a generation.
Join Becca, Chris and Dave we discuss homoeroticism, was Mr T acting or not, what little Adrian has to do, where’s that kid of theirs and the good old days where two grown men in tank tops frolicking around in the sea without speculation.
Ding Ding. Round two… It’s the rematch we’ve all been waiting ever since last week.
